The SANY EVI 360° Vision System is an integrated safety and management hub designed to give operators a pilot’s-eye view of their surroundings.

By combining advanced hardware with smart software, SANY has moved beyond simple mirrors to a system that eliminates blind spots and simplifies fleet management.

How It Works:

  • Four High-Definition Cameras: Strategically mounted on the front, rear, and sides of the machine, using ultra-wide-angle cameras to capture the entire perimeter of the machine.
  • Real-Time Processing: The EVI 360° control unit takes these separate feeds and stitches them together in real-time.
  • Virtual Top-Down View: On the in-cab monitor, the operator sees a single, seamless bird’s-eye view of the machine. This allows them to see people, obstacles, or trenches that would otherwise be hidden below the window line or behind the counterweight.

Why It’s Easy to Operate

SANY designed the EVI system to assist the operator, not distract them. It’s built to be intuitive from the moment you turn the key:

  • Touchscreen Interface: Most modern SANY machines (8 tonnes and above) feature a large, high-resolution touchscreen that acts as the command centre. Switching between the 360° view and specific side/rear views is as simple as a tap.
  • Automatic Activation: The system is smart. For instance on a telehandler the rear-view camera often expands or activates automatically when the machine is put into reverse.
  • Visual Cues: Rather than guessing distances, the screen can provide overlay markers (distance grids) to help operators judge exactly how much room they have left before hitting a stockpile or a wall.

Practicality for Everyday Use

In the high-pressure environment of a construction site or quarry, the EVI 360° system offers several key advantages:

  • Reduced Operator Fatigue: Constant neck-straining to check blind spots is a leading cause of fatigue. With the EVI 360° vision system, the operator can maintain a natural, forward-facing posture while still knowing exactly what’s happening behind them.
  • Enhanced Site Safety (AI Integration): Some versions of the system include AI Pedestrian Detection. The system can recognise a person and highlight them with a coloured box on the screen, even sounding an alert if they enter a danger zone.
  • Remote Management (Telematics): Because this is part of the EVI 360° suite, fleet managers can see what the machine sees or track its health and location remotely via a mobile app or desktop dashboard.
  • Durability: The cameras are IP67-rated (waterproof and dustproof) and designed to withstand the high-vibration environment of heavy excavation.

With EVI 360° Vision, you have total visibility and control — keeping your projects running efficiently, safely, and on time.
