The STH1840 is the flagship of the series, offering a maximum lifting height of 18 metres and a capacity of 4,000 kg. It is engineered for the most demanding high-rise construction tasks, providing the reach of a much larger machine within a maneuverable package.
To handle the stresses of an 18-metre reach, the STH1840 features a 12,300 kg operating weight and a reinforced chain-driven boom. Like the rest of the range, it is backed by a 3-year warranty for peace of mind.
The 55 kW Deutz engine and Dana transmission provide consistent power for travel and lifting. It can lift 2,500 kg to its maximum height and 550 kg at full forward reach with stabilisers down.
Despite its size, the STH1840 retains a 3,850 mm turning radius thanks to its 4WS system. The high-specification cab ensures the operator remains comfortable and focused during complex high-reach maneuvers.
Fuel efficiency is optimized through electronic engine control (EMR) and perfectly coordinated axles and transmission. The 500-hour interval for grease and filter changes maximise uptime.
Includes all standard STH safety features plus enhanced visibility aids to assist when working at maximum extension. The ROPS/FOPS cab and hose burst valves provide critical protection for the operator and site personnel.
